This page explains what data the Khashab website collects and how we use and protect it.
Orders and delivery
When you order from the store we keep your name, phone number and email address, the delivery address and emirate, the pieces and their options, the payment method and any note you write. We use them only to confirm the order and book the delivery and assembly, and the delivery team sees your name, phone and address on delivery day. Nothing is paid on the website; you pay on delivery, in cash or by card.
Fabric swatches and WhatsApp
If you ask for fabric swatches or message us on WhatsApp, we use your number and address only to send the swatches and reply to you. The chat itself is also covered by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.
Accounts and the contact form
- Customer accounts: name, email address, password (stored encrypted), delivery addresses and order history.
- The contact form: your name, email address, subject and message, kept in the website’s dashboard.
Cookies and what your browser keeps
We use only the cookies we need: for signing in, for keeping your cart during your visit and for protecting forms from automated messages. Your browser also keeps a copy of the cart to speed pages up. We use no tracking or advertising tools, and you can clear all of this by deleting this site’s data in your browser.
Retention and your rights
Orders are kept for five years for accounting, as the law requires, and contact messages for twelve months. You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or the deletion of your account at any time from the contact page, and we reply within thirty days.
